As there is no statutory assessment for writing at the end of KS1 and KS2, children will be assessed by their class teacher using on going assessment. 

Pupils will either be assessed as

Working Towards the Expected Standard (WTS)

Working At the Expected Standard (EXS)

Working at Greater Deapth withing the Expected Standard (GDS)
