Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Autumn Term 2020
In March 2020, schools across the country closed to the majority of pupils due to the Covid-19 pandemic. During the school closure every effort was made to enable children to continue learning remotely from home. However, we are aware that children missed a significant amount of classroom teaching during this time.
In light of this, we have worked to develop the following Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each year group for the autumn term 2020. These documents outline the key concepts and elements of the curriculum that we think children need to be secure in before they can access their current school year curriculum.
Teachers will be using these documents to inform their planning and informal assessment of pupils during the first half of the autumn term. We are aware that all children are different and learn differently so it is important to state that lessons will continue to be differentiated to support pupils who are finding some things a little more difficult and to challenge those who have grasped concepts more quickly. In this way we will continue to teach lessons in which all children can achieve and make progress, regardless of their starting points.
